El Debarge and Pete Farmer Part Ways- Again

As of August 22, 2017 the duo part ways again for the second time. It has been a roller ride for El Debarge since his return to the public eye as we once knew him in years past. When El was released from prison some time in 2009, Pete Farmer teamed up with the living legend for the music star to get back on track to a music career that was once thriving and had great potential to continue on as a RnB mainstay in the industry. However, stuff happens. Soon after, El and his manager had disputes, and who knows what all the specifics were about, but let's just say the two differences in opinions about the direction of the artist and music growth to compete in a doggie dog industry took a devastating setback. After the BET Awards appearance in 2010, and the Inside El Debarge TV reality show, many thought the duo were a good match for the road back.

Sadly, much part of the 2013 and early 2015 year split, El was own his own and managed himself for better or for worse. El entered rehab to find stability, there were cancelled shows and fans were pretty heated. Nevertheless, his talent and music were still and still is in high demand through all the absentees. But fate would have it and El and Pete reunited for one more run. It last just over two years. I must say, thanks to Pete Farmer for putting back into the public eye and making sure El was at the concerts. I enjoyed the comeback and who knows, maybe in the future, this pair can do some promotional deals. #Believe
