2017 BETAwards George Michaels Tribute

It was a wonderful surprise to see El Debarge grace the stage to give one of the industry's beloved, hot selling music artist, George Michaels, in a touching tribute to his legacy. George Michael passed away last year on December 25, 2016 from deteriorating health issues. Having a enormous influence in RnB, BET found it only fitting to salute such a great talent.

And El Debarge did just that. Being a perfectionist and studying the vocal style and the decor of George Michael fashion style, El held him down in iconic style from head to toe. El's voice was so in sync with the George Michael's style until it was like reliving those great sounds from the 80's and 90's all over again!
