Capital Jazz Fest 2017

What an outstanding event in Columbia, MD over the first weekend of June 2017. So many talented artists came to a SOLD OUT audience at the Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Among the lineup were El Debarge, Faith Evans, George Benson, Uncle Charlie Wilson, Kenny Lattimore, Kelly Price, Anthony Hamilton, Avery Sunshine, Sheila E., Loose Ends, Kirk Whalum, Nathan East of FourPlay, and so many, many more that were great!

El performed on the Symphony Wood Stage and this living legend did not disappoint. The women loved him! The men loved him! The crowd was just ecstatic and those classic Debarge songs never died. It was a perfect venue to enjoy so many talented artists.

El DeBarge Plans for New Music Release

El Debarge has news for his fans! Are you ready? Yes, it has been a long time awaited for a new album. Since November 30th of 2010, fans have enjoyed the continuous harmonious sounds of Debarge, but suddenly new music has been put off to tour and create other projects or so it seems. Second Chance, Heart Mind & Soul, In The Storm, and Gemini, were the best music you can hear from a genuine RnB artist. Even though I have not heard of any buzz about what promotional strategies are to play in pushing sales, I just hope that many fans support his journey to create his style of music and build upon the legacy. After all, it is a family affair! And let's face it, without promotion via videos to tell a story, or creating a buzz the best music goes nowhere. So fans, let's do this!
